Alla Cherkassky Galati represents the interests of domestic and international insurers in the professional liability, general liability, employment practices liability, and directors and officers context, with respect to both primary and excess coverage of public and private entities.  She focuses on resolving a wide range of complex coverage disputes, including matters involving sexual misconduct, the opioid epidemic, bad faith, consent judgments, and trigger and allocation. Alla’s experience includes coverage analysis, risk exposure and mitigation, and appropriate reserves and resolution strategies. She has significant experience resolving coverage disputes in pre-suit, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution forums. Alla also serves as insurance defense counsel for various claims and issues, including wrongful death.

While attending Notre Dame Law School, Alla was a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Jon E. DeGuilio of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. She was a selected member of the Moot Court Board, competing on the ABA National Team. Alla also received the Dean’s Award in the course of Intensive Trial Advocacy.
