Galati & Holmen Win Appeal in Illinois

Alla Cherkassky Galati and Neil Holmen obtained a victory in the Illinois Appellate Court, First District, successfully dismissing their client from a wrongful death claim, reversing a lower court decision, so a nearly identical claim can proceed in Maine. This is Alla and Neil’s second appellate win in this case. They had previously successfully defended the dismissal of two of their other clients based on lack of personal jurisdiction. Zamora, et al. v. Gilbert, et al., 2021 IL App (1st) 201296-U (Nov. 3, 2021).
