Avniel Adler Board Certified in Insurance Law

Walker Wilcox Matousek LLP proudly congratulates Avniel Adler for obtaining Board Certification in Insurance Law from The Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS). Avniel is one of only 3 attorneys to pass the 2025 Insurance Law certification exam.

In order to become board certified, an attorney must:

• Practice law full-time for at least 5 years as an active member of the State Bar of Texas;
• At least 3 years of Insurance Law experience with a yearly minimum of 30% substantial involvement in Insurance Law matters;
• Qualified vetted references from 5 lawyers in the area;
• Complete 60 hours of TBLS approved continuing legal education in Insurance Law;
• Meet all of the TBLS Standards for Attorney Certification; and
• Pass a comprehensive 6-hour examination in Insurance Law (https://www.tbls.org/specialtyarea/IL).

Only 67 attorneys have obtained Board Certification in Insurance Law from TBLS, representing less than 1% of all Texas-licensed attorneys. This certification highlights Avniel’s dedication to helping his clients navigate the complexities of Insurance Law.
