Toby Gammill is a seasoned trial attorney with extensive experience in complex civil litigation and insurance defense. He is licensed to practice law in Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, New York, Tennessee, and Connecticut, reflecting a broad and versatile legal practice across multiple jurisdictions.
Throughout his legal career, Mr. Gammill has concentrated on insurance defense matters, representing clients in a wide range of high-stakes and technically intricate cases. His practice includes auto accident litigation, construction defect claims, coverage disputes, legal malpractice defense, medical malpractice defense, bad faith claims, and wrongful death actions. Known for his strategic approach and courtroom acumen, he has earned a reputation for delivering strong advocacy and practical results for his clients.
Before entering the legal profession, Mr. Gammill served with distinction in the United States Army, where he rose from the rank of Private to Captain over 15 years of service. A dedicated leader, he graduated from Officer Candidate School and later returned as an instructor, helping develop the next generation of Army officers. He consistently excelled in military leadership training, ranking in the top 5% of four different Army leadership schools.
Mr. Gammill is a combat veteran of Operation Desert Storm and also served as a Captain in the New York National Guard. In the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 attacks, he played a critical role in providing ground security in New York City during a time of national crisis.
He is a graduate of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), further honing his litigation and trial skills. In addition, Mr. Gammill has contributed to the legal community by teaching numerous Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars, sharing his knowledge and practical experience with fellow attorneys.
Outside of his professional life, Toby is devoted to his family. He is married to his wife, Allison, and is the proud father of three sons, Liam, Adam, and Jack and two Maine Koons, Preston and Benjiman. In his personal time, he enjoys cooking complex recipes, traveling, and experiencing live music with his family.
