Matt Casey is an experienced litigation attorney in the Chicago office. Matt focuses his practice on commercial litigation for individual, corporate, and government clients, both as plaintiff’s counsel and defense counsel. He handles a variety of litigation matters in federal and state courts, including construction disputes, eminent domain, breach of contract, torts, unfair competition, copyright infringement, and professional malpractice. Matt has taken bench and jury trials to verdict in Illinois. Matt’s practice also includes insurance coverage and real estate transactions.

Matt is an instructor for Chicago Kent College of Law’s Trial Advocacy Program. While in law school, Matt was a Judicial Extern with the Honorable Margaret O’Mara Frossard of the Illinois State Appellate Court and a teaching assistant for first year legal writing students. Before he began his legal career, Matt worked as a consultant for healthcare providers.
